Completely shaved either comes from frustration over maintaining a shape and/or kinkiness. I was trying to comment on this… why kinky? couldn’t she just like it? ---

In the 60’s models didn’t cut the pubic hair in Playboys. Now they do. I guess they think men prefer prepubescent looking girls these days. ---

Handy, I think AWB makes an excellent point - if you’ll look at the swimsuits and underwear back then compared to now, these women today need to groom themselves a lot more in order to still not display a lot of fur at the beach, etc. As far as men preferring the look - I don’t know. I think it looks better - it looks cleaner - but that’s just about all one sees nowadays so it could just be a conditioned response. In December they put out a retrospective thing - “The 100 playmates of all time” or something like that and I will be honest and admit that seeing some of those extra hairy muffs was kind of an exotic turn-on. I don’t want my own girlfriend to ever get that hairy, but it was kind of neat to look at. Again, could just be a response to the pre-conditioned response, so what do I know? 😛 ---

A friend of mine used to work as a photographer’s assistant at an advertising agency in Sydney. One of their main clients was Target (which is a kinda middle-class clothes supermarket in case you don’t have them) and part of their work was to shoot the catalog photos. You know the kind of thing - and of course there was always the bras and underwear to shoot. Part of his job (and I swear this is true) was to decide whether the models’ pubic hair was visible under the lights. Not that he got to “fix it up”, but it was expected that he’s have to get a good long look at each models nether regions to make the call. At the time, my friend was only 19 years old, and the envy of every single one of us. The only down side to his position was that he had to do the same for the men’s shoot! (He told us he always squinted!!) ---

Not only is a trimmed pubic region good to look at, it’s functional; no one likes to get a mouthful of hair. ---
