I’ve seen screenshots of this message at the end of the movie, and also sites that only thank “the gallant people of Afghanistan.” This site claims it was changed, faked or misremembered? Is someone trying to rewrite history? Perhaps a Q-loving Stallone? Although I can’t answer the question directly, the mujahidin were our friends at the time. No less than James Bond invited them to London (_The Living Daylights_), where they made a fabulous impact, caught the eye. ---

The ending I saw read “This film is dedicated to the brave people of Afghanistan.” It would make no sense to “thank” them, since the movie was shot in Israel. ---
