Based on the way Obama used it and Gibb explained it, I take it to mean something like nervous, or perhaps all aflutter or something to that effect. Where Palin held her baby shower is of no concern to me so I have to go with no. (And I love that Obama passes the spell check while Palin gets the nice red underline in Chrome) ---

I was thinking that it sounds like something they would have done on _Roseanne_. And that would have been done as a ‘look at the ridiculous things that poor people with no taste do’. ---

I do not fall directly into either liberal or conservative, I am an unholy blend. On some subjects I lean one way and on others the other. You don’t have a clicky for fence sitter +) That being said, I really don’t care where the dumb bitch does anything as long as it isn’t in the White House. ---

Channeling mrAru [missed the edit time] I would have told her: What a highly inappropriate location, not only are you exposing people who may or may not be familiar with firearms with exposure what even professionals consider potentially a less than safe environment, considering the air born levels of heavy metal contamination [primarily lead and bismouth] you now have contamination on all the presents opened at the site. Considering that heavy metal toxicity has some of its greatest impact at the beginnings of childhood development, the resultant exposure would have had a greater influence than many other environmental considerations. ---

Slip of the tongue, maybe, but probably just a product of not really having a grasp on which side is which. The book _Game Plan_ said that Palin did not know Korea was two countries during her debate prep, and it wouldn’t surprise me if she still had trouble remembering which ones were the commies. Even if it was a slip of the tongue, though, what would the RWM media (including both Beck and Palin) have done to Obama for making that same gaffe? ---

Doing anything for effect seems like the simpleton’s way in politics in my opinion. But certainly a shower at a gun range must be every bit as constructive as holding a bacchanalia at a strip club. ---
