He has this highly imaginative name of [Kool-Aid Man](http://www.kraftfoods.com/kool-aid/ka_index.html). I wonder how many ideas were bandied about by the ad execs before they settled on that gem.

looks like he used to be called [Pitcher Man](http://www.kraftfoods.com/kool-aid/2001/facts/ka_fact_12.html) back in the 70’s. he must not have been too Kool back then…

I believe that Kool Aid Man adopted an alias for several years after his rumored involvement in all that unpleasantness down in Guyana . . .
