# Does the NRA do anything good?   (not sarcastic)

There are minors under the age of 17.  
There are minors under the age of 16.  
There are minors under the age of 15.  
There are minors under the age of 14.

Do you understand why it was written that way now, or shall I continue?

I hate the NRA for all it does to prevent sensible gun-control laws from being passed, but at least in the Eighties, I saw that their gun-safety courses were integrated into Boy Scout summer programs and did some good.

You laugh but I’ve seen statistics regarding violence against children where they included 18 and 19 year olds. It pays to be specific in how you define child or minor.

Some laws define minor as under 21, like for drinking.
