Not a big fan of the ad, but the fact that we’re all here discussing it in such detail certainly indicates that it was effective. ---

I just found it hard to believe an ad would imply that negative interpretation. But the simpliest explanation is usually the correct one and you mentioned earlier that it is a common theme in the UK to disparage redheads, so I guess that is it. Maybe the ad writters really believe redheads don’t get sex and that this ad would resonate with the “sexless freaks”. The last one that I don’t get is “Bribery when you’ve got window washers”. Anyone understand this one? Does it mean I’ll wash your windows (or have them washed) if you do me a favor? The US equivilent being, “I’ll wash your car if you do me this favor”. ---

I assumed it meant, “I’ll pay you to not wash my window in 20 seconds with that dirty water and your bad squeegee.” ---
