I like short films and I enjoy DVD short film collections. Recently I got a DVD called _Girls on Film 2_, which is a collection of four short films. I enjoyed the films included and decided to pick up what I assumed was the first DVD in the series, either _Girls on Film_ or _Girls on Film 1_.

But I can’t find it. It’s not on Amazon or any other DVD selling website. I can’t find any used copies. I can’t even find a copy at the company’s website (although they are now working on _Girls on Film 3_). What’s more, none of these locations even mention a DVD by this title.

So does this DVD even exist? Or did the joke go over my head and the series started with #2? And if it does exist, any ideas on finding it?

It would appear that the now dead site “[http://www.critichick.com/](http://www.critichick.com/)” (Reviews, articles and discussions about movies, music, TV, and the rest of pop culture. From the founders of Girls on Film.) had info on The original. However, [the Wayback Machine](http://www.archive.org/) isn’t helping

I did so more searching. I found a description of it in a online magazine article talking about the history of the company. Now with some of titles of the films on the DVD, the search continues.
