Does Tom Batiuk HATE his characters?

The Comics Curmudgeon rocks! My only complaint about the site is that the comments, which are often as funny as or funnier than the entries, build up so quickly it’s hard to read all of them. Oh, and that it made me start reading Mary Worth with the whole Aldomania thing.

It should probably be renamed Little House on the Winkerbean. They could have a typhoid epidemic hit – Patient Zero would be someone working at the pizza parlor, naturally – right as a tornado swept through the town.

Of course, such a storyline might not involve enough suffering for Batiuk’s taste …

We get the Saturday paper delivered, and it contains the Sunday inserts, including the comics:
