Sure does. I wonder why.
I read once that the angle you’re sitting when watching TV is the same angle that you have when you were a baby getting fed. But in that case you looked at your mother’s eyes.
I don’t get hungry playing video games.

i beleive it is physical boredo that makes you want to eat.
Now if only i would get bored enough to do sit-ups!!!

for the Devils to score against Dallas! Onto a second overtime in a scoreless game.
Actually, I find that my hunger is more related to time since I last ate. Commercials about food don’t usually make me hungry but for some reason watching movies (especially sci-fi or scary ones) moves me to throw a bag of popcorn in the microwave. Must be a theatrical association.

Hmmm, could it be the subliminal suggestion of all those food ads, creeping into your brain crevices while you’re vulnerable?
I’m assuming you don’t watch FoodTV. I do, interspered with History Channel and Discovery, when I watch at all. Oddly, the munchie-attacks don’t vary much.
Mostly, I read–and am too absorbed to be hungry. Even the lamest, _stupidest_ book read from print-lust doesn’t lure me to eat. Neither does futzing around on the computer.
This is interesting. Rather than posture alone, could the zoned-out passivity of tv/movies harken back to infancy? The lights, the colors, feed me, oral gratification…
Whew, glad I didn’t post that idea in a more serious venue.
