# Does your religion endorse "survival cannibalism"?

I’ve gotten a definitive answer on this from my synagogue. They send out an email every Friday afternoon, and it includes information about upcoming events. Once a month, we have a Friday night service oriented toward kids and families, called “Shabbat Alive”. This was in this week’s email:

(bolding mine)

I suppose they could just be planning to cut the kids in eighths and not eat them, but what would be the point of that?
