Try having the nurse check it. I was in for my yearly just this morning, and after she brought me to the exam room to await the Doc, I asked her to take it. Came in at a great 117 over 73. The Doc takes it ten minutes later…120 over 87. When I take it at home, my numbers come closer to what the nurse got than what the Doc got. So. yes, white coat thing.
I’m 19 and I have completely normal vital signs, as long as there isn’t a doctorin sight. Doctors, however, do terrible things to them. Like a blood pressure of 180 over 120. However, when I donate blood, I’m at 100 or 90 over 70. I hate doctors (which everyone finds amusing, as my uncle and grandfather are doctors.)
