I don’t see who should be shocked at this- a convicted murderer having other shortcomings- but people also need to realize that you can use say things like that out of anger, and not necessarily mean them. I have no idea if this is the case here, but its a possibility. And it doesn’t justify it either way. ---

I had so much respect for this guy untill about five seconds ago when I heard the audio tapes on the Howard Stern show this morning. The biggest fear he expresses in the tape is that of losing his media career. It’s funny how it never seems to occur to him that he could ensure his media image by simply NOT USING THE WORD NIGGER in everyday conversation to refer to black people. Instead, he prefers to keep using it, but to try and hide that fact from his media public. A rather odd set of priorities. ---
