At least it was cooked, I have heard many stories of young labs swallowing small ducks whole with the feathers still on while retrieving for hunters. I have witnessed many bird dogs swallow quail whole.

An old neighbor’s lab ate a loaf of thawed frozen bread dough off of the counter. The dough continued to “rise” and created a life threatening situation. The dog survived with veterinary intervention.
