Just this past year (I’m 31) I realized in traffic…

Suburban = Sub-Urban

It was as if a light broke through the clouds. And then I thought “Duh, I’m an idiot…”

There’s a poster on the subway that I first noticed last week. It shows a picture of a woman dressed in a gown and crown with a bouquet of flowers in her arms and a cheesy grin on her face. Her sash reads “Miss Traffic.” I thought, “Oh, har…like Miss California, Miss Whatever…isn’t that cute?”

So this morning, I looked at it for the umpteenth time, and all of a sudden, the lightbulb came on. “Ohhh! They’re saying that by using the subway, you MISS TRAFFIC!” I felt incredibly stupid for not getting a pun that was so awful to begin with.
