Loved the guy. He’s lucky to have lived as long as he did. I remember Johnny Carson gently chiding him over his weight on _The Tonight Show_ twenty-five or thirty years ago and pointing out that we’d all like him to stick around for awhile.

There’s an odd note in his Wikipedia page (not _on_ the page but hidden – it appears if you try to edit).

Friend of mine worked with him very briefly a few years back. Said he was an amazingly down-to-earth guy who could have you laughing your butt off without seeming to try that hard. He’ll be missed.

Not to malign the dead, but though he was married with kids he was widely known to be gay and had some harassment allegations over the years from male extras.

I wonder whether Burt or Loni will get custody of the remains.

Jeez is that true? Any cite for that because it seems a little harsh to his family to say that he harassed people.
