Of course it’s really the GOP leadership that needs to do this, not the rank and file (tho the fact that they’ve let these loons hijack their party should make the saner Repos feel very worried), but instead the likes of Boehner are just egging them on (we can only hope that the worst of the vandalism involves egging). ---

Also, I truly don’t understand the beef the pro-life people have with this bill. Didn’t include language that says no federal funds will go toward abortions? Didn’t Obama just sign an executive order underscoring that? What exactly did they want…an amendment saying that all abortions are now illegal? It seems like they got a pretty good deal. ---
