I think so too. He’s a very sweet guy.
Who remembers when we called him Boober?

With luck, Opalcat, he won’t be wearing size 14 shoes like my son is at 13 1/2.
Enjoy, he’s old enough to really torture now. They blush so easily at that age!
I’m still waiting for the blushing easily stage. We’re still at the stage where he’ll give me a hug and kiss me on the cheek in the middle of the grocery store–or even at the pool, in front of his friends–and say “I love you, mom”
Mind you, I am not looking forward to that part going away…
Man I remember that feeling. I had a new feeling last week. My son is no longer a teenager. He turned 20 on September 9th
I sit and think was it really 20 years ago? My son is in his twenties? Just seems unreal sometimes.
And to top it off my baby turns 18 in a month.
I am not sure whether to cry or jump for joy
Congratulations!
When I met him last winter he was a nice boy, I’m sure he’ll be a wonderful young man.
I hope it wasn’t like this.

OpalCat Perhaps you’ll be lucky…mine never did outgrow this stage. He’s 38 now and will still kiss me then say ‘luv ya, ma’ as I walk away…and that’s on the manufacturing floor where we both work.
I’m incredibly blessed. I hope you are as fortunate!
When I first started posting on the old AOL SDMB, Dominic was about 18 months old.
