The Donald is (maybe) [back for more](http://www.politico.com/story/2015/03/donald-trump-2016-presidential-bid-116176.html). But I’m not pitting him. I’m preemptively pitting anyone who gets in the way of his run or in any way reduces the chances that he runs. Because if there’s one thing we need in this country, it’s Donald Trump in a presidential campaign. Not because I want him to win, not because I think it will hurt the Republican Party, but just because it will make an excruciating year-and-a-half so much more amusing. Run, Donald, run! ---

I think we’ll hear about this, but he’ll just start the waterworks and tell us how much he wishes he could continue just to cover another Trump candidacy. But it takes a lot of the fun out of it, sure the others will make the hair jokes, but who’s going to really work the quotes the way TroutMan did, who’s going to challenge the Donald to some sort of battle of wits, if Jon were on the job I’m sure Trump would end up suing him. It’s a shame if we miss all that, maybe if we start sending emails Jon will rethink his rash decision. ---

I rather agree, but this past decade, I have noticed that unless you REALLY step in the deeeeeep doodoo, politicians don’t seem to LIKE enforcing laws against each other. You’ve got to do something egregious before anyone seems to wanna step in and enforce laws like that… That being said, I’d love to see Trump run. The comedy would write itself. ---

No, he isn’t. He’s only seeking more attention and more paid speaking engagements. There is a precisely ZERO chance that this huckster is serious about running for President, being required to expose his finances and suffer the genuine media attention that he would receive if he was the nominee. Or put his financial empire into Trust if he was elected (which will not happen in this or any other universe). ---
