For the birthers, the long form won’t be long enough. They are pretending it is about the certificate. It is not. It is bigotry and right wing insanity. Those conditions have not changed. ---

It’s well known that as a teenager, Obama was a member of the Columbia Record Club. If this administration campaigned on a promise of transparency, why have they consistently refused to say which ten albums he got for free _OR_ which three he bought at regular club prices? Could it be that he took the ten free records and then reneged on his promise? I guess we’ll never know. ---

I’ll just note that, as a teenager, Obama was not able to make a binding contract, so if he did indeed renege, there would be no legal recourse. Of course, the morality of the action is open to debate. Joe my mom used to send out letters on my dad’s letter-head to Columbia House local kids explaining how a 14-year old couldn’t be held to a contract. As far as I know, she never did one for Obama, though. ---

It is my opinion that in this was at least 90%+ of this issue could be put to bed, and everyone, doubters and undoubters alike, can set the issue aside and get on with other business free from having this albatross hanging over the necks of both the Obama and Republican camps and influencing future congressional and presidential votes. This is the stupidest fucking idea I have ever heard. In fact, it’s almost the stupidest idea I can imagine. Fitting that it should come from you. ---

AS always, it is not about the long form. I knew it would not silence the nuts. They make Area 51 look mainstream. SA can not be reached. He was never going to be satisfied. He said all he wanted was a release of the long form. Did anyone believe that? ---
