The place to post each day’s Trump lies. Good luck with this. It would be nice to have one place where all of his lies and the disemboweling disprovals of same could reside and where one could refer any doubtful voters. Maybe there could also be a words-of-one-syllable version for Trump supporters, on the off chance that any of them would care about facts. ---

Oops! “Walking back” is the term of the day, with reference to Leave advocates having promised to get rid of all those dark-skinned people (they won’t), as well as having promised to give the cash that used to be paid to the EU to…well, practically every interest-group in the UK, but most notably the National Health Service. Ain’t gonna happen, it turns out. Oops! Of course it’s a preview of what Trump fans would find out the day after Trump is (hypothetically) elected President. No, he’s NOT going to bring back your factory job, he’s NOT going to expel all the dark-skinned people, he’s not going to declare Evangelical Christianity the state religion and outlaw all other religions, and, most emphatically, he is NOT going to build a wall (nor get Mexico to pay a dime toward border operations). Oops! ---

Romney didn’t have supporters backing up his lies by claiming it happened to them. After Trump claimed there were thousands of Muslims celebrating in NJ on 9/11, his supporters started claiming they saw them too despite the fact there was no evidence. ---
