As a matter of interest, do we know where the AI generated stuff that Trump posts originates? I doubt that he has the skill and patience to craft and adjust prompts to generate what he wants. Is there a rota of aides who generate stuff for him, or is it MAGA fanfiction from outside that he redistributes? ---

Vance is pathetic. When confronted with Trump insulting the Pope and portraying himself as Jesus, he falls back on: Oh Trump was just joking. (ie he’s a bully making excuses when caught) Trump likes to mix it up. (ie he’s an asshole) Trump is unfiltered (ie Trump is in final stages of dementia) And finally: It’s a good thing to have disagreements with the Pope. He actually said this. As a Catholic. Maybe excommunicate him. ---

I take a certain amount of joy in imagining that the Orange One can’t help but watch some of them, **because they’re about him**. And I also imagine that he watches with a sort of slack-jawed confusion – Kimmel’s sharp wit surely cannot penetrate Trump’s natural stupidity exacerbated by dementia – so all he sees is Kimmel saying things about him that he doesn’t understand, and the audience roaring with laughter. Must be frustrating! 🙂 Maybe he gets some of his lickspittle lackeys to explain the jokes to him later. ---

There’s something going around the intertoobs saying that Trump was told to say that the image had been doctored, and he heard it as “say is was supposed to be a doctor”. I tend to credit this as truth, as he’s just that big a moron. Oh, and I see he’s lashing out at Italy now along with the Pope. ---
