But even if that was a deliberate lie, it’s a really stupid lie.

We’ve had Presidents who told lies before. But they didn’t tell stupid lies.

Telling stupid lies doesn’t make you honest. You’re still lying. You’re just bad at it.

Being stupid and dishonest is worse than just being stupid or just being dishonest.
