I’m inclined towards watching it as well, in that whole “Witness to History” kind of feeling. I really have no idea what he’s planning to say, or what he’ll end up saying regardless of that plan, but it feels like this is a watershed moment that might just define the next few years of US, and probably world, history.

And the edited bits won’t have quite the same impact. “They’re eating the dogs, they’re eating the cats”, when it hit live, was a complete shock, a “Did he actually say that? Holy shit, he did!” moment. I don’t know if he’ll top that, or if it will just be his usually whiny blather, but it feels like it might be important to witness this.
