Biden can simply ask Trump to tell us whether A) He is a terrible businessman who has lost tens of millions of dollars yearly as he reported to the IRS or B) He is a good businessman who lied to the IRS. Don’t let him get away with saying he didn’t pay taxes because he was smart. Point out that the tax returns indicated he lost tens of millions of dollars so either he is a poor businessman or he lied. ---

So, he didn’t pay taxes because he sucks at business? How does that make his a tax evader, then? I’ve heard the “he bankrupts his businesses” thing like a million times. I’ve heard the “he brags” thing a million times. Getting sycophants to help you in return for favor is how, sadly, most politicians get elected in the US, including Obama and, if it happens, Biden. ---

Would you rather have the lifestyle of the llama herdsman or Trump’s? I person graduating from an MBA also may have negative net worth, and therefore, less than the herdsman. Somehow I think that any measurement that makes Trump poorer than a person that cook their food on llama dung is a broken one. ---

Someone leaked his tax returns to them, they reported the facts. If the returns were done correctly, he’s an incompetent businessman. If the returns were done incorrectly, he’s a tax cheat. In any event, anyone who owes that much money could not get a security clearance and poses a clear and present danger to the US by remaining in the White House. ---

Looks like Joe loves using the Tax Code to its fullest extent, too. The lady who cleans houses cannot get those tax breaks. Well, that opinion article that accuses Biden of [checks notes] _complying with the tax law,_ is surely the same thing as a self-described billionaire business genius actually being a colossal failure propped up by credit and so far in debt he’s unlikely to be able to pay it when it comes due in two years, and also with many possible instances of cheating ranging from funneling his daughter consultant income when she already works for him, to writing off his hair stylist. ---

Even the sanitized public versions of Trump’s financials are so obviously money laundering that it’s not worth discussing other possibilities. [Here](https://twitter.com/adamdavidson/status/1310929478030426112) we have Trump’s Aberdeen property which Trump serves somehow simultaneously as the owner the asset, the money lender for the asset, the individual for whom the money is owed for the asset. And every year he lends himself money for the property, increases the value of the property on paper, but does not actually spend the money on anything for the property. It makes zero sense as anything other than money laundering. The money just appears from somewhere and then disappears. ---

Exactly, and in a way not available to most people. The person cleaning your house cannot use that option, the millionaire receiving money for future political favors, can. You’re changing the case from “tax evasion” to “not vey clear moves” to “he sucks”.
