“Likable presence” ? Good freakin’ god, can you imagine slaving for years for a parent, and that’s the best that parent says about you? Trump should be thankful his last name isn’t Melendez. ---

Fear of humiliation, and thus annihilation, because his ego is too weak to cope and he’s dimly aware of it. It’s a very primitive emotion, which doesn’t surface in healthy people unless under extreme pressure. But classic for a cold narcissist like Trump is, and the kind of emotion that leads to either murder or suicide. Make no mistake, the man lives in an emotional wasteland. If he were less harmful I might sympathize. Read Mary Trump’s first book if you want to know more. Just my two cents. Late to the party, I know. ---
