We’ve talked about the 3500 Trump lawsuits, but I just heard it spun that all big corporations have high numbers of lawsuits like that. Can anyone confirm or deny? Sounds like BS to me, but my google skills weren’t up for the challenge. ---

In the cold war we lived under the threat of nuclear annihilation in 30 minutes at any time. Since the cold war ended, and the world has found a stable order, we’ve forgotten that threat exists even though everyone still has many thousands of warheads ready to go at a moment’s notice. The nuclear threat is still very real. Trump is threatning to disturb the order that keeps them out of our minds. He’s actively attempting to change the situaton in such a way that nuclear annihilation looms closer. This isn’t some stupid political stunt or even being racist or sexist - this is literally tinkering with the balance of power that allows for the continuation of civilization. ---

Heard a clip on CNN of Trump speaking to a veteran’s group. Not only have they forgotten what he said about Americans taken prisoners, but they believd him when he said he, when elected, would have a direct phone line installed so vets can call and complain about their care and that he would take each call _personally._ “Thank you for calling TrumpVetCare. I just read a rather sobering article about how Trump will win in November. I think he would be a dangerous choice for President, but the odds seem to be ever in his favour, based on his defying the odds at every step so far. Ted made him look like an ass. However Hillary effectively traded control of the DNC to Bernie Sanders in exchange for his full support for her President run. He delivered when he could have reneged, right? So who is the better deal maker? By the evidence, it’s Hillary. ---

Not to get dragged into a big debate, but, imho, if free trade.was coupled with free movement, it would probably convert a number of OWS “types” ( for want of a better word) to support free trade. ---
