It’s true. Human couriers are practically impossible to intercept. And modern battles are typically fought in well defined formations in open fields, much the same as they were fought in the Napoleonic Wars. Couriers would solve many of our problems. The so-called military professionals need an MBA’s perspective to shake them up. ---

There was a US vs middle eastern country (Iran) war game in the early 2000s where human couriers were used effectively as a countermeasure to US SIGINT. The Donald probably has someone summarize that wikipedia article to him just before that speech. ---

Paul Revere defeated the British Redcoats without a telephone. If we had Paul Revere on the ground in Syria, then Al-Assad and Daesh would have surrendered long ago. Soon, Trump’s _The Art of the Deal_ will be right next to Sun Tzu’s _The Art of War_ on the bookshelf for all-time military classics. ---

There are legitimate reasons to use a physical courier. ---

A \*Guardian \*reporter is claiming that Trump just said, “we pay rent for our base to Saudi Arabia”. Now, we supposedly do not have a base in Saudi Arabia, and have not had one for 13 years. So, either: 1-On his first day of receiving intelligence briefings he released classified documents,or 2-He’s claiming present tense for something that has not been true for 13 years. Either way, he has just damaged our relations with the Middle East. > ---
