Looks like Gary Johnson got about 1% of the popular vote in 2012. I guess Republicans who are horrified by Trump but who can’t bring themselves to vote for Clinton are heading over to Johnson. Six or eight percent is a pretty good showing for the Libertarians. ---

Frankly, the only reason that we’re still hearing from him now, days after the convention, is because Trump can’t let shit go and keeps the story front and center. He had his speech, impressed America with how Muslim immigrants can be as hard-working, patriotic and giving as any other American and… that’s what he came for.
