In yet another of the list of things that would get someone else in trouble, Trump has [massively increased](http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/08/donald-trump-campaign-expenditures) the rent that his campaign is paying at Trump Towers now that donors are paying for it. As I understand campaign finance law, the campaign is required to pay fair market value for office space, which means that he was either underpaying before or is overpaying now.

Being a “slut” (sexually active person who openly and unashamedly enjoys boinking) is one thing; working as a professional “escort” and screwing rich gross old men for cash is another.
Not to mention her weird immigration/employment status, lying about her education, plagiarizing Michelle Obama’s speech…
If I have to hear crap about how “Bill Clinton is a rapist” and expect Trump to bring up Monica Lewinski at the Presidential debates, then yes, I’ll put Melania on the table.

He reminds of how every month or so someone posts here about some great invention/movie/etc. they came up with an they need help getting to market. Of course, they can’t give any explanation on what it is, but they swear it will change to world.

I agree that I don’t care about her sex life or occupation even if they overlapped at some point.
But I do care about her hypocritical stance against sex work. Shame her for standing on the GOP stage that is vehemently against GLBT rights; after she posed nude in a implied lesbian bedroom scene. Shame her for ripping off the First Lady while condemning her at the same time.

What’s up with Trump [cancelling so many recent events](http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/292271-trump-cancels-two-upcoming-events-report)?
Colorado, Oregon, now one in Vegas on Friday.
I can think of a few reasons:
- Events were undersubscribed - nothing says “loser” like having 300 people in a 5000 seat venue.
- Trump’s campaign team is frantically trying to get him under control, and/or learn something for the upcoming debates
- Trump is physically/mentally coming apart, and public events would reveal that.

Nope. I assumed you used a Google cache link to avoid giving Breitbart money, until I clicked on them. (Not that it matters to me–I have adblock for this very reason. You don’t get ad money before I know whether you deserve it. It’s my effort to stop clickbait.)
For future reference, you get the real link if you copy and paste from your address bar, not from the link on the Google page.

I think you meant “can” stop Chicago violence?
I love that interview. Trump says he met a “top police officer” who so impressed Trump with his plans for ending crime that he called “sent his name in” to the Chicago mayor and said he should hire this guy.
The mayor… should hire the top police officer… :dubious:

Talking Points Memo suggests that it’s a sign of deep confusion in the Trump campaign. They point out that Trump has now talked himself into a position of advocating for continuing President Obama’s current immigration plan. TPM thinks they’re cancelling events while the new team fights about what their message should be.

You know, I think you’re onto something here.
Melania should go on the road speaking out in support of prostitution, and stumping for whores’ rights. “Twenty years ago I sold slices of my butt for nice Manhattan apartments and pretty sparkly things, and I ended up marrying a (maybe) billionaire! I will use my bully pulpit to advocate for my downtrodden sisters!”
