The reality is someone in this thread used the term catatonic to describe Hillary’s condition, and Merneith et al were reacting to the ridiculousness of it. You just had no problem arguing with them.

That’s what I was arguing. I did not say she went catatonic for fuck’s sake. I pretty clearly said calling it a stumble is pretty ridiculous too and not whatever extra arguments you decided to attribute to me in your head.

Relax. I’m not calling you out on anything. I’m just explaining why people are calling out the use of the term catatonic to describe Hillary. You’re the one passionately jumping into the middle of an argument and wondering why everyone’s misinterpreting you yet again.

So now the Big Cheeto says he is going to reveal his medical details on…wait for it…the Dr Oz show. Be cause of course he will. A doctor know for endorsing/pushing a fair amount of woo and non-science based medical advice is just perfect for Trump.

I am not wondering, I know why. If I disagree with a counter argument in any way, unsophisticated debaters assume I agree completely with the original argument. See it all the time in highly partisan atmospheres.

So you are positing that I was given a little tutoring on catatonia, asked whether I have a binary view of “catatonic or perfectly healthy”, and that I seemed to need aforementioned tutoring on catatonia because they actually understood me? That my completely _un_nuanced post that did not mention catatonia required all that? All I said was “it wasn’t a stumble”.

Dr. Oz is both a registered Republican and a Muslim, and he holds a dual citizenship for both the U.S. and Turkey. I wish some reporter would ask Trump before he goes on the show whether he thinks a Muslim with dual citizenship should be allowed to stay in the country. 😃
