How many other national office candidates have had fights break out at their rallies and how many times? Seems like a serial thing with supporters of Mr. Trump.

I see a scared little man-boy, scrapping and clawing for “his” country right to the very end. The fear in his eyes is palpable.

Note that the woman he tried to slap held her camera phone up to his face while he was yelling at her, and I’m guessing not just for her own viewing later.

This is the sort of thing that could cause Trump to backslide. The violence that marred some of his campaign events, particularly the one that resulted in a cancellation of his Chicago appearance, is the sort of thing that might force voters to imagine life under Trump, and not in a good way.

A year ago Donald Trump said, “The problem we have right now—we have a society that sits back and says we don’t have to do anything. Eventually, the 50 percent cannot carry—and it’s unfair to them—but cannot carry the other 50 percent.” Sad!
