I’d like to see the stats of accusation percent vs. trial percent vs. conviction percent. I don’t dispute higher percentages of blacks, or Latinos, commit crimes than whites, but not because of “race”. Other than white collar types, crime is more closely correlated to poverty and environmental situations, the very situations that so many minorities find themselves in. We also know of a high percentage of Asians coming from poverty and excelling in school and business. I don’t believe they are a superior “race”, but their culture promotes those values more than others. When one believes that people commit more crimes _because_ they’re black or Latino, or less _because_ they’re Asian, that IS racism. ---
