Has no one mentioned the [the recent Newsweek report detailing](http://www.newsweek.com/2016/09/23/donald-trump-foreign-business-deals-national-security-498081.html) conflicts of interest between the Trump Organization and U.S. national security? - Trump favors South Korea acquiring nuclear weapons. His Organization is in partnership with Daewoo Engineering and Construction, with a nuclear fuel enrichment program. - Trump has business relationships with the Turk Aydin Dogan, recently indicted by an Istanbul court on charges of fuel smuggling. This is one reason Turkish President Erdogan is already feuding with Trump. - Trump has business relationships with the Azerbaijani Anar Mammadov, suspected of having laundered money for Iran. - Beginning in 2008, Trump reportedly attempted to forge a business relationship with Libyan dictator Muammar el-Qaddafi, and allegedly sought investments from the Libyan Investment Authority. ---

If you had told me a week ago “Remember that magazine Newsweek? It went bankrupt in 2013.” I would not have batted an eye. The voters are getting their info from, **at best** , cable news. I’m not sure if there are any Trump supporters in this thread to answer, but here’s a question about Trump’s birthering: There was never any evidence, not a single shred, that Obama was born anywhere but Hawaii. There was a mountain of proof provided publicly that he was born in Hawaii, in 2008 (including newspaper announcements of his birth, his birth certificate, and an official statement from Hawaiian state records’ officials) and more in 2011 (the long form certificate, normally not provided to individuals and requiring a special waiver). Trump continued spreading the birther lies and fact-free bullshit for years afterwards, until Friday, proving that his “curiosity” was never about evidence or proof or any records, and only about deligitimizing and de-Americanizing Barack Obama. I see only two possibilities as to why Trump continued to spread this evidence-free nonsense: Trump either is so incredibly stupid that he bought into the fact-free bullshit claims of others, or he’s so cynical and dishonest that he didn’t care that there was no evidence for it. Which explanation do Trump supporters favor? Is Trump so stupid and credulous that he bought into baseless bullshit? Or is he so cynical and dishonest that he just doesn’t care and used it to get attention? ---
