Every time he shows up I yell at the television. Who needs to see his whiny mug? What a smug little prick. When Fox starts giving air time to liberals, then MSNBC can start showing conservatives.

USA Today article about the decades of lawsuits revolving around Trump shortchanging his employees.

> **[USA TODAY exclusive: Hundreds allege Donald Trump doesn’t pay his bills](https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/06/09/donald-trump-unpaid-bills-republican-president-laswuits/85297274/)**
>
> Among those who say billionaire didn't pay: dishwashers, painters, waiters

> [@](#):
>
> At least 60 lawsuits, along with hundreds of liens, judgments, and other government filings reviewed by the USA TODAY NETWORK, document people who have accused Trump and his businesses of failing to pay them for their work. Among them: a dishwasher in Florida. A glass company in New Jersey. A carpet company. A plumber. Painters. Forty-eight waiters. Dozens of bartenders and other hourly workers at his resorts and clubs, coast to coast. Real estate brokers who sold his properties. And, ironically, several law firms that once represented him in these suits and others.
>
> Trump’s companies have also been cited for 24 violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act since 2005 for failing to pay overtime or minimum wage, according to U.S. Department of Labor data. That includes 21 citations against the defunct Trump Plaza in Atlantic City and three against the also out-of-business Trump Mortgage LLC in New York. Both cases were resolved by the companies agreeing to pay back wages.
> In addition to the lawsuits, the review found more than 200 mechanic’s liens — filed by contractors and employees against Trump, his companies or his properties claiming they were owed money for their work — since the 1980s. The liens range from a $75,000 claim by a Plainview, N.Y., air conditioning and heating company to a $1 million claim from the president of a New York City real estate banking firm. On just one project, Trump’s Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City, records released by the New Jersey Casino Control Commission in 1990 show that at least 253 subcontractors weren’t paid in full or on time, including workers who installed walls, chandeliers and plumbing.
>
> \<snip\>
>
> Trump and his daughter Ivanka, in an interview with USA TODAY, shrugged off the lawsuits and other claims of non-payment. If a company or worker he hires isn’t paid fully, the Trumps said, it’s because The Trump Organization was unhappy with the work.
>
> “Let’s say that they do a job that’s not good, or a job that they didn’t finish, or a job that was way late. I’ll deduct from their contract, absolutely,” Trump said. “That’s what the country should be doing.”

I hope Elizabeth Warren takes him to church on this subject.

It’s just shocking to me that nobody brought this up as disqualifying last year when Trump first announced. These liens, lawsuits and shenanigans have been going on for decades. Why wasn’t this shady dealing brought up months ago?

Read more carefully. I never said you did. I simply asked you a question that I hoped would shed light at the dumb-ass comment you made. The question stands. I’d like an answer.

Uh, no, your dumb-ass comment pretends that there might be some confusion between race as is meant by organizations like NCLR and the TV show, _The Great Race._:rolleyes:

And perhaps you should save your semantic history lesson for those who call Trump racist. Maybe I missed it, but I don’t recall you coming in to correct those posters for their horrible, _actually_ incorrect accusations.

It is a fact that the word “racist” has undergone some change, taking on a vernacular meaning as shorthand for bigotry of many forms. As always when that happens, an elite pedantocracy cringes in dismay, vulgarians are afoot!

Kinda like class struggle, but much less important.

Reminds me of the story of how Napoleon was on the march and decided he’d rather be marching in the shade so he told his troops to plant some trees. They told him something along the lines of “dude, they’ll take twenty years to grow high enough to give us any shade.” Napoleon comes back with GUESS YOU’D BETTER GET STARTED THEN!

No trouble at all. Are you trying to access it from the United States?

But OMG!!! It says that Omarosa is working for him!?!?

For those who don’t remember, on the (non-celebrity) Apprentice, Omarosa was portrayed as a royal screw-up who often refused to do her assigned tasks (when she didn’t screw them up) and caused her team to lose. She was brought back several times to play the villain. I have no idea if that is her in real life.

There was an interesting nugget in [this Slate piece](http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2016/06/09/donald_trump_is_going_to_blow_all_of_the_gop_s_money.html). Trump met with Reince Preibus and some heavy-hitting Republican donor types to put together some strategy for the general election. Trump apparently tried to pitch a strategy that considered New Jersey, California, Pennsylvania and Maryland “in play.” The author of the piece notes:

> [@](#):
>
> Only one of those states, Pennsylvania, can be understood as “in play.” The others are not, and California and New Jersey are also money holes. You can’t even use the “well, we’ll at least force Clinton to defend there” justification in any of these states.
>
> […]
>
> There is something about Trump’s personality that makes him believe he needs a marquee media-centric state like California. He probably doesn’t see the typical Republican strategy of cleaning up in the South and the Plains as “flashy” enough for his brand. He’ll think he has to win California because it’s large and beautiful and he owns great properties there, terrific views, some of the best land in the world, really, like you wouldn’t believe.

I’ve said it before, but I can’t see this campaign continuing, in this way, until Election Day. Either the GOP is going to somehow seize control and bring Trump to heel or he’s going to flame out in a way none of us has seen in our lifetime.
