ABC News was upset that Trump hadn’t commented, but didn’t bother to mention anything Hillary said.

This could be Trump’s last chance to save his campaign. Whether Trump admits it or not, he really does need the support of the republican party and its activist constituencies if he’s to defeat Hillary Clinton. But if Trump wants to be accepted by republican gang, then he’s going to have to pass his initiation test first. And the republicans will probably demand that he be a hard-lined anti-abortion or anti-liberal bench crusader. And this is something he could actually pull off and not look like a complete flop. I mean, let’s face it: Trump and the GOP both have contempt for women, and now they both have contempt for the federal judicial branch of government. A match made in hell.

I know! I think we should pass a constitutional amendment that whenever anyone leaves the country, we can have a referendum on whether wherever they are visiting is stuck with them.

I’ll admit, I’m not sure what China would have felt about Nixon. He’d have probably been the first western used car salesman to be selected as leader of the Chinese Communist Party.

Three female justices voted for abortion. Should have recused themselves. Can’t possibly be fair. Sad! Trump will fire them!

A majority of GOP voters still would rather have someone else as their nominee: [Poll: Majority of Republicans prefer someone else to Trump](http://www.aol.com/article/2016/06/27/poll-majority-of-republicans-prefer-someone-else-to-trump/21420126/)

I got some serious chuckles out of the celebrities that are supporting Trump, such luminaries as:

Wayne Newton (I think he was last relevant in 1975.)
Gary Busey (Git him, Mel!)
Kid Rock (When I look for solid political decision-making, I think Kid Rock!)
Tila Tequila (Uh-oh, there goes the small-time pornstar vote.)
Rosanne Barr (Really? I used to like you.)
Willie Robertson, ‘Duck’ of Duck Dynasty (This one needs no comment.)
Teresa Giudice, of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” (Yep, another political expert.)
Dennis Rodman (As I’ve said before, he brings both the loony and the N. Korean vote.)
Mike Tyson (Hey, Mike, wanna job in the Secret Service?)
The Palin (Easy, cheap shot.)

Meat Loaf is probably still convalescing. I think even Alice knows better than to back the loony-toonedness. Dunno what’s up with the Nuge, though. Maybe he gets that Trump is the ultimate RINO of all time.

Meat Loaf and Ted Nugent have been firmly in the Trump camp for months. Alice Cooper, OTOH, believes that rock musicians (including himself) are morons and should not be involved in politics.

The Washington Post ran an article today about how The Donald’s been stiffing charities for years - often pocketing the money himself.

[**Trump promised millions to charity. We found less than $10,000 over 7 years.**](https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-promised-millions-to-charity-we-found-less-than-10000-over-7-years/2016/06/28/cbab5d1a-37dd-11e6-8f7c-d4c723a2becb_story.html)

> [@wapo article](#):
>
> In May, under pressure from the news media, Donald Trump made good on a pledge he made four months earlier: He gave $1 million to a nonprofit group helping veterans’ families.
>
> Before that, however, when was the last time that Trump gave any of his own money to a charity?
>
> If Trump stands by his promises, such donations should be occurring all the time. In the past 15 years, Trump has promised to donate earnings from a wide variety of his money-making enterprises: “The Apprentice.” Trump Vodka. Trump University. A book. Another book. If he honored all those pledges, Trump’s gifts to charity would have topped $8.5 million.
>
> But in that time, public records show, Trump donated about $2.8 million — less than a third of the pledged figure — through a foundation set up to give his money away. And there is no evidence that Trump has given to his foundation lately: The last record of any gift from him to his foundation was in 2008.

It’s an interesting article and traces Trump’s history of claiming that he was giving his proceeds from his various ventures to charity all the way back to the eighties, when Trump said that money from his book, The Art of the Deal, and the Trump branded game from Milton Bradley would go to charity. That all stopped when it became inconvenient.

> [@again from the article](#):
>
> Still, Trump said he made $880,000 from it, and even more from “The Art of the Deal.” In 1987, the mogul started the Donald J. Trump Foundation to donate his royalties.
>
> But the proceeds didn’t go straight to charity. They went straight into Trump’s bank account.
>
> “Are you asking me whether or not I took the check . . . and endorsed it over to a charity?” Trump said on the witness stand in a 1991 New York State court case, brought by a man who accused him of stealing the idea for “Trump, the Game.” “Who would ever do that?”
>
> Trump said he did eventually pass money to his foundation, which gave it away to charities. He said he had given away even more than he earned.
>
> But when Trump ran into financial troubles in the middle of 1990, records show that his giving to the foundation slowed — then stopped. In 1991, he gave no money to the foundation. If book and game royalties came in that year, Trump apparently found another use for them.

The ferret-wearer has been a con-man for years. I hope that the publicity he hoped to garner by being a presidential nomination will lead to his house of cards going up in flames.

Oh, in Trump Foreign Relations news - for the last week, Donald and his son Eric have been spamming UK Members of Parliament and also Scottish MPs for campaign donations. (Because _they_ have nothing else on their minds, right now, that they need to care about electing Donald Trump.)

**[UK Pols To Trump: Stop Clogging Our Inboxes With Your ‘Intemperate Spam’! - TPM – Talking Points Memo](http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/trump-fundraising-british-members-parliament)**

> [@](#):
>
> A staff member with the Scottish National Party, Christopher Mullins-Silverstein, told Fusion that members of the party have received several fundraising emails from the Trump campaign.
>
> “They’ve been getting these emails for the past week," he said. “Ever since he came to Scotland.”
>
> Mullins-Silverstein told Fusion that he has filed a complaint with the Federal Elections Commission.
>
> It appears that English MPs also received the fundraising emails from the Trump campaign, as one complained about them to the Speaker of the House Commons, according to Politics Home.
>
> “Members of Parliament are being bombarded by electronic communications from Team Trump on behalf of somebody called Donald Trump,” Sir Roger Gale said on Tuesday, according to Politics Home. “Mr Speaker, I’m all in favour of free speech but I don’t see why colleagues on either side of the House should be subjected to intemperate spam.”

Presumably this is Trump’s way of capitalizing on Brexit Fever and riding that Take Back Our Country! wave straight into everyone’s spam folder.
It is, of course, illegal for candidates to accept money from anyone overseas except American Citizens. Fact Check explains the details here -

> **[Overseas Fundraising Legal? - FactCheck.org](https://www.factcheck.org/2008/03/overseas-fundraising-legal/)**
>
> Q: Is it legal for candidates to raise funds overseas for a presidential race? A: Yes, but they can’t legally accept donations from individuals who are neither U.S. citizens nor permanent U.S. residents. FULL ANSWER U.S. political candidates may...

This is what you get when amateurs run your presidential campaigns.
