Pre-op MTF transsexuals may. If we had the hundreds of thousands of dollars that reprise thinks we do, that would have been taken care of by now. As it is we are working on getting that taken care of as soon as possible. ---

I’ll admit I skimmed through the latter parts of lee’s OP, so I may be ignorant here, but I am referring to this quote by Lee: “The gift ban came when I announced my pregnancy and was told by some I know that they would give my child Disney to spite me. “You’ll see you will have to watch every Disney movie ever made and there is nothing you can do about it.”” I read that as a wiser, older person who had experienced a child’s wants vs. the parents’ idealism, in a kind of good-natured eye-rolling light. Anyway, I do agree, if anyone in Lee’s circle of friends is truly aware that she feels strongly about this issue, yet persists in violating it, then it is indeed not an act of kindness. ---

And starting off on page 1, I thought this was simply about some parent-to-be with no idea on how to separate the big from the small! At this point I guess I’d better shelve my bon mot about my pre-kid resolution to never use TV as a baby sitter. **lee** - if this is any indication, you could easily fund the kid’s education through the sale of tickets. ---
