WTF **grendel72**? Way back in this very thread, [here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&postid=2812235#post2812235), I pointed out to **KellyM** that there was a problem with **reprise** ’s posts. **KellyM** seemed to take that on board. Why can’t you? Why lose it completely over something that _may_ have been just a hack? ---

So, **Padeye** accuses them of being ‘uptight’. **Mr. Cynical** points out that ‘Woman Sperm’ and ‘Sea Monkeys’ are both ‘misleading advertising’…( women don’t make sperm, and Sea ‘Monkeys’ are NOT monkeys), **Mr. Cynical** again makes the point that women are incapable of producing sperm, but reiterates that he doesn’t care anyway, and **mswas** points out that tolerance goes both ways. And this is hateful, how? Fuck off **grendel**. You’re not doing anybody (least of all **lee** and **KellyM** ) any favours by championing the rights of the ‘marginalised’…because by your actions you are making the chasm between people greater. attacking after the matter the thread is about has been resolved is extremely poor manners at the very least. These particular attacks happen to be bigoted attacks. **Kelly** is a woman. To continually call her a man is mean spirited. Tolerating bigots is a sure way to live a very short life as a doormat, but it is terrible advice to give anyone. ---

Also, to even begin the process indicates that **Kelly** is emotionally and mentally female. You are obsessing one one tiny element of what makes a person male or female, and being quite a jerk about it. “You’re a MAN baby!” you think that’s clever? “lighthearted”? I was being rude. The situation called for it, he was a complete asshole and attacked them after the supposed reason fot the thread’s existence had been resolved. It’s a simple question, “who started it?” Who was it that felt the need to bring unrelated matters into the thread as an attack? Luckily for me, I was exposed to everything as a child. I’m not advocating that as a parental ‘OK’, but getting a taste of all that media had to offer allowed me to formulate my /own/ opinions about what I saw, and what I read, and what I heard. Sure, I was seven the first time I saw a horror movie (The Sentinel), and it scared the piss out of me for months and I wouldn’t walk in front of a certain house in our neighborhood that looked too much like the house in the movie–but I got over it. And watched it again. My prediction (and I don’t know if anyone has made this yet, as I’ve not read through the entire thread yet) is that the more you fight to keep Disney and products related out of your house, the more your kid will yearn for them. Kill the mystique. Don’t limit your kid before she’s even out of the womb. ---
