The legends are the result of a complaint of cars hitting the bump while going too fast and the sound annoying a nearby resident, along with an unworkable suggestion about moving the warning sign, and I suspect the whole thing was a continuation of drama during the neighborhood traffic calming meetings. End of story: the street now says BUMP. ---

A street with bumps, and signs warning of those bumps; is better than a street with bumps, and no signs warning of those bumps. ---
