No strong feelings with friendo. I may draw conclusions about the sources hair color or reddit usage however. I had no idea the pit was so fun. Decades in this site and never really waded in until someone besieged and besmeeched my sense of self worth by calling me b\*\*. ---

I can’t claim to be wholly unsympathetic to the OP’s distress (only about 85-90%). I tend to bristle when my co-workers (even my supervisors) call me _Mr. Brown_ instead of _Michael_. Yeah, at 68, I’m a bit older than most, but I’m not the oldest one on the crew. ---
