I’ll try: During a home invasion, my odds of successfully defending myself with a handgun I randomly pulled out of a kitchen drawer would be improved by simply leaving out the slugs. ---

I have proof that slugs can kill! I knew a girl scout who was climbing up the side of a mountain and accidentally put her hand on a slug. She almost fell back down the mountain! So this shows that not only are slugs deadly, but they have it in for girl scouts. ---

I remember reading about a similar thing in Australia in the 80’s (I think). Some guy who was drunk ate two (two mind you) slugs for a dare and ended up with meningitis. I always hated them but that made me declare war on them. ---

My wife used to work with a blind guy. Wasn’t born that way, ate a slug on a dare and ended up blind. What a dumb-ass. We used to call him “Sluggo”. ---
