I don’t know what ahppened. It’s all a bit of a blur, I’m thinking of trying to get hold of her. But that involves going through about ten other people and it seems pretty far to go for anyone, especially one who don’t actually remember talking to you were that drunk. Anyway, today I listened to the radio for a bit but didn’t really enjoy it. ---

Why the hell to people refuse to accept the fact that I work nights and that stopping by or calling at 11am is rude!! I don’t go to people’s houses at 3am when I know they go to work at 8, ring the doorbell and knock several times and say in a stupidly innocent voice, “Oh, did I wake you?” I’m a night person living in a day person’s world! Night Owls, rise up and unite!! ---

He comes back and has this sheet written up. I go “Wait, where do you get $699? The contract he signed has $619 as the monthly.” Prez says: “Yeah, well, the sales rep talked with him at the beginning and told him the full monthly charge is really $699. He knows.” I go: “Ok When was this discussion? There is no record of it in his file. The signed contract says $619.” Then I told him the set-up form the tech guys use, that the customer never sees, has a monthly amount of $651, in the sales rep’s handwriting! Can you believe this mess? But the Prez thinks he’s the all-powerful Oz and he just says: It’s ok, they agreed to it, they know it’s $699. I go “Well don’t be shocked if they pitch this bill, and don’t think that we can do anything about it, either. We can’t enforce that price if it’s not in WRITING.” Then he let a string of curse words fly and says if they don’t pay, he’ll get his lawyers on them. As if. His Lawyer will laugh in his face. And so will I. ---

There is an appalling pile of cable behind my stereo and TV. Between digital cable box, TV, amp, DVD player, and 6 speakers it’s one huge mass of copper. And to top it all off I just went out and picked up 3 more cables to finish off the snake-like (not badger- or mushroom-like) mass. _Spam! It’s pink and it’s oval. Spam! I buy it at the Mobil. Spam!
