Whoa! I hadn’t even realized it was that time of year! Looks like my computer’s smarter than I am. If we can mess around with the clocks like this, why can’t we just agree to turn the clocks _back_ one hour _every_ weekend, or even every day? I could sure use the extra hours. (Next time I move, remind me to pick a planet with longer days.) ---

My grandfather never accepted Daylight Savings Time. If you wanted to deal with him, you made an appointment, and adjusted the time accordingly. Because he was a fairly big wheel locally (county commissioner, etc.), people made the adjustment. I seem to have inherited some of his cussedness; I’ve always thought DST was a fairly stupid concept. On the other hand, I’m an “early to bed, early to rise” kind of guy… ---

We don’t change our clocks/time here.
