Those are some serious assault rifles! Apparently this fence-jumper has been told to stay off the WH grounds in the past. The article also says he’s homeless. Well, he’s got a home now, one with nice bars on the windows and a steel toilet. ---

The secret service is a bunch of jack booted thugs. Back in 2008, Obama had just been elected and was moving into the White House. I was proud of our new President and decided to give him a housewarming present - a chef’s knife that would compliment any kitchen. I knew that he was a busy man, so I ran across the lawn to give it to him quickly so as not to take up too much of his time. This was a joyous occasion, so I held the gift above my head for all the world to see and laughed as loud as I could. I was also naked. And the A-holes from the Secret Service roughed me up just for trying to give Obama a present. ---

In, oh, 1998 or 99, I lived in DC, and when some friends came up to visit, I naturally took them down to the Mall, White House, etc. for some sightseeing. I can’t remember exactly where we were (maybe not too far from the perennial No Nukes guy), but it was dark. We were leaning against the fence, looking at the White House, and suddenly, we hear “Evening, guys.” A Secret Service agent, dressed out in full night gear and carrying an assault rifle, was patrolling the fenceline, and had come up immediately behind us without a sound. He greeted us, and then moved on. It was a little hair-raising, I admit. ---

I attended an Obama speech in Kansas City, and the victory rally in Grant Park, and came away very impressed with the efficiency of the Secret Service. Nice to see that they are also very quick. From what I understand, he has received vastly more death threats than any other President. ---
