# Don't Know Much About Geography...Or Do I?

Someone pointed out this geography quiz qame at[Travelpod](http://www.travelpod.com/traveler-iq) to me and I’ve been mildly addicted this weekend. Just point and click the locations of the given cities, capitals, and famous places on the world map and the game calculates you score based on how close you get and your speed.
In my best run, I completed Level with a Traveler IQ of 132
What’s killing me are
a) Pacific & Indian Ocean nations. Even if I have a vague idea where Vanuatu or the Maldives are, I often am more than a 1000km off due to the map scale and size of the seas.
b) Russia. Have fun picking out the locations of cities in Russia’s interior such as Yekaterinburg and Yarloslavl.
c) West Africa. All those tiny nations clumped around the horn of Africa

No wonder you’re having trouble, since the Horn of Africa is in the [east.](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horn_of_Africa) 😛
