I was riding behind a pickup truck with a trailer hitch awhile back and noticed a similar item hanging from the hitch. It was not at all realistic looking…in fact, it was yellow and appeared to have a function (at the time I never thought someone whould actually hang something like that from their vehicle trailer hitch). Is there a similar item that actually DOES have a function? ---

You could just get a plain metal endcap to put over the trailer hitch when not in use, but that’s apparently not ballsy enough for some people. Oddly, I saw some rubber nuts on a truck with a trailer hitch, but they were hanging underneath and not covering the hitch at all. ---

Cool, thanks. I’ve never had to explain. It was a hypothetical. While I’m assuming one explanation would be adequate, a reasonable modicum of disgression on people’s part would render even that unnecessary.
