Actually, I’m a former fourth grade teacher, and currently a high school teacher.
Are you implying that a few unusual incidents in my past render me permanently unfit to educate the youth of our proud nation?

Actually, the law allows me to do so, so long as I have no convictions for major felonies indicative of moral turpitude, particularly sex crimes, particularly sex crimes having to do with children.
This is the case with me, by the way, in case you were wondering.
Besides, I didn’t do anything aside from some paid electrical work and electrical motor adjustment. Hell, I didn’t even attend the party afterwards…
Besides… have you ever thought about YOUR fourth grade teachers and considered what THEY might have in their bedside drawers? Believe me, I suspect I may know some things there that you don’t… 😉

Despite how I came across, I’m not trying to say that teachers can’t have a sex life. All I’m saying is, it would seem a little awkward to me if I was buying sex toys from the same person that taught my child to read…

I agree with **cornflakes**.
It’s better for kids to accidentally kill themselves than accidentally get pregnant and bring new life to the world.

Actually, she _does_ know the law - she just doesn’t agree with it, and she is challenging it on constitutional grounds.

Every state has its own stupid sex laws that are so old you can hear the paper on 'em turning to dust!
AZ had (not sure if up to date, sorry) a law that you could not own more than 5 dildos. Yeah, I’m really gonna announce it out loud that I own 12! Call the police!
And we’ve got stupid cohabitation laws that basically say that you can’t live with a member of the opposite sex unless you are legally married. I once had a male roomie, holy CRAP! Call the police!
You can’t do any sexual position except missionary, EVEN if you’re married! HOLY SHIT ON A STICK, BATMAN!!! Ok, I’m a serious law-breaker here… call the police, DOPERS… use any sex thread here as a reference to my hideous crime spree.
I only have one dildo, btw… wanted to see if you were alive.

Zyada, excuse me if I’m a little lost. You just said that “by the same law, I’m a sexual felon.” Do you mean you sold “marital aids”? Because according to the link provided at the very beginning of this thread, her lawyer plans to file a motion to “dismiss on grounds the law violates someone’s right to own a sexual device, which is not illegal.” So, please enlighten me. What exactly is against the law? Looks like you can own them, but not sell them. Is that the way it is? Sure sounds stupid, but I’m sure each state has it’s stupid laws.

By the same section of law, it is a felony offense to own 6 or more phallic sex toys. 😉
I didn’t realize that bit wasn’t covered in that link.
And for those thinking that you can’t get these in Texas, it is not against the law to sell them as novelty items. And you can own less than 6 no matter what you intend to do with it.
