I think there’s plenty of room for common ground on this issue (how many people think the gun show loophole is reasonable? Don’t surveys show the NRA’s position is out of step with the views of a lot of its members?) but nothing doing.
You didn’t, no. But it’s not hard to find people saying we should look at every option except gun legislation. The NRA, for example, made their security guard suggestion and said kids are exposed to too much violence through movies and video games. Nothing else came to mind.
