When **Unclviny** was still a baby the family moved to Tripoli, Libya (Dad worked for Esso). We lived on a street on the outskirts of town and there was only 1 road in and only 1 other house on the street, our neighbor was driving into work one morning when his progress was stopped by some slow moving Camel’s being herded across the road. He began honking his horn in an attempt to hurry up the Camel’s, apparently one particular Camel did not appreciate this and sat on the front end of his little tiny Fiat car smashing it into scrap (explain that to your insurance agent!). Several months later it happened to him again!. Unclviny ---

Australia actually did operate a Camel Corp during the Great War. They were used in the Middle East, alongside the Light Horse. I never heard of one that sat on anyone though. 😛 ---

A camel once tried to tear out my throat, while its owner stood next to it and chirped, “Oh, how sweet, he likes your perfume!” I’m still rather fond of camels, though. You gotta admire an animal that can look so haughty while stinking so bad. ---
