…your dreaming and it happens to be extremely funny? You’re running around making the snappiest and funniest remarks you’ve ever heard. You then come to realise you are dreaming and something in your head goes, “Gotta remember those…gotta remember those!” And then you wake up and you can’t remember a damned thing!! …or when you are dreaming that someone who is nasty to you in real life is really, really nice to you in your dream. And you want to walk up to the person the next morning and say, “Why can’t you be nice like that all the time?!” ---

…you’re dreaming you are showered, dressed, walking out the door, keys in hand, actually hear the door close behind you and… then you wake up!!! And have to start all over again! This time for real. Cripes, I _hate_ it when that happens! It gives a sense of wasting time re-doing something. ---

…you open up the dining room, serve a bunch of tables, have your breaks, serve more tables, talk with other staff, see the new schedule…wake up and then you ACTUALLY have to go to work! Thank god I stop working next week! I jsut cant do it anymroe! ---

You dream that you’ve come into a lot of money, or have a chance to do so, and then you think, “Wait…this is dream money. I won’t get to keep it.” Then you wake up and you’re still poor. ---

The worst is when you’re dreaming that you have to pee really bad, and you do so. Then you wake up and still need to pee. “Christ, didn’t I JUST do this?!?” I bet you thought I was going to say “Then you wake up in a pool of warm liquid.” Nope. 😛 ---

… you meet some intriguing dead person in your dream, somebody you’d absolutely _kill_ to have a conversation with, and you can’t think of anything to say except “So. It’s rainy out today.” This has happened to me twice, once with John Lennon, and again last night with Richard III. Damn. ---

Don’t you hate those few moments of being caught between a dream and reality? Like when you discover something really neat in your sleep, like learning to fly or realizing your dog can talk, and when you first wake up you’re all ‘Woo! I can fly!!’ and ‘Well, Goddamn if I didn’t just talk to my dog!’ and then _ding_ you realize that no, that’s not true. Wait, maybe it is…No, can’t be. Right? ---
