What credentials do/did Ann Landers, Dear Abby, Jackie Stallone, Miss Manners, Dr. Laura, Dr. Phil, Dr. Demento, and Judge Judy have/had? Okay, so I’m being slightly facetious. My point is that - as far as I know - one doesn’t have to have credentials in order to offer advice unless one is presenting oneself as a professional (a la Mumford). ---

Jeepers Cripes! Never simulposted with an administrator before. Anyway, I don’t disagree with you in principle, **Diane** ; I’m just thinking it’s a situation that differs from a doctor giving advice, or a lawyer. Then I’d really want to know their creds. ---
